Post Sale Update: This LeMans sold for $4,650 after 21 bids in Miami Beach, Florida.

As 1984 wrapped up, Moto Guzzi introduced the next generation of their iconic Le Mans with a bigger motor, Lario-inspired styling, and a 16″ front wheel. The front wheel change was polarizing as the frame had been designed around the 18″ front wheel of the previous generation but no changes were made to accommodate the smaller rim. By ’87 Guzzi offered a 18″ front wheel as an option, but that was too late for this example.

The V-Twin engine produced 73 horsepower and was capable of 50 miles per gallon. Guzzi sold 1,179 of these bikes in 1986. For more information, check out this article on the Bike Shed Times.

This example (VIN: ZGUVVAVV5GM100192) has 32,805 miles but it looks like it’s got much less. The master cylinder was recently rebuilt, and it features a Corbin seat and aftermarket slipon exhausts. Find this LeMans for sale in Miami Beach, Florida with bidding up to $3,205.99
