1989 Honda GB500

Post Listing Update: This GB500 was relisted multiple times with slightly lower BIN figures. Eventually it got down to $5,000 but that still wasn’t enough to attract a buyer, and it seems like the seller gave up on eBay.

Honda’s GB500 has become quite a cult classic (with the selling prices to prove it) thanks to its classic (British) good looks and Honda reliability. Here’s an example that’s not going to win any shows, but it’s available for a decent price in decent condition.

The bike has just shy of 30k miles but the seller claims it looks/runs great and is a clean daily runner. Flaws include a crack on the left footpeg bracket (though a NOS bracket is included) and a ding on the rear fender. It’s also got a repaint, but it’s been recently serviced and has some upgrades like Progressive fork springs and stainless front brake line to complement a bevy of extra parts. Replace the custom tail light and fix the minor flaws and you should have a classic that you won’t be afraid to take out every day.
