Post Listing Update: This CBR was pulled off of eBay, final sale price unknown.

Erion Racing has had a long line of success flying around racetracks in AMA competition as Honda’s premier support team, so Honda paid tribute to them with a special paint job that emulated the Erion AMA racer. Honda would also do the same thing with the next generation CBR929RR.

The first generation of the Honda CBR900RR, affectionately known as the Fireblade, was a revolution in the large displacement sport bike market. Despite a 50% larger engine, this bike weighed just 4 pounds more than the CBR600F2. Just as important, this bike was a whopping 76 pounds lighter than its lightest competition! When originally introduced, some thought the steering was dangerously fast. As time has moved on, it’s clear that the Honda CBR900RR was just a trendsetter – modern supersports are all just as twitchy, if not more. Dynamically, this is an excellent bike with incredible reliability. As Motorcycle News puts it, the Fireblade was “the motorcycle that changed how sports motorcycles were built.”

This example has just 2,905 miles and the cosmetic condition reflects the low mileage with the original Bridgestone Battleaxe tires and original warning decals. These are hard to find in the first place, let alone in this shape.
