2000 Moto Guzzi Quota

In Dual-Sport, Italy by AbhiLeave a Comment

As a R1150GS owner myself, I’m a big fan of large displacement dual-sports, particularly of the opposite-cylinder variety. This big V-Twin checks all the right boxes for an all-rounder, with the added benefit that you’re going to stand out from the GSes with a bike this rare.

1

A concern with rare bikes is always going to be maintenance and parts availability. That’s what makes this bike such a great buy – all the known shortcomings of the Quota have already been addressed for you.

2

The OEM Excel rims which were prone to cracking have been replaced with aftermarket Sun units, the restrictive OEM exhaust has been replaced with a Mistral, and the headlight has been converted so you’re not stuck with inadequate nights (something nearly all OEM bikes seem to suffer from).

3

On top of the resolved factory deficiencies, this bike comes with extras that put this Quota over the edge as an all-day bike that you can enjoy on fire roads – including factory bags, bar risers, and a Bill Mayer seat. Fly in and ride this home!
