A highly original example of Suzuki’s top-of-the-line-sportsbike, this Gixxer is offered by a seller we adore.
This example comes from a long time friend of Bike-urious – this is a seller that I trust – who acquired it “to make a collection of 2000’s sports bikes.” He’s retiring now and downsizing which is why this bike has to go. He’s the third owner, and it has just 7,200 miles. “When I got the bike, I found the muffler had a very light blemish and the windshield had a scratch on it. I found a NOS muffler in Singapore, and fitted an OEM NOS windshield also. I removed and flushed out the brake calipers, changed oil (Amsoil synthetic 10w40) and filter, and fitted a new OEM air filter. I have ridden the bike about 20 miles and it rides great.”
Cosmetic flaws are limited to “very small marks in the lower fairing decals that have been rubbed by a rider’s knees”, but that’s it. The sale includes the OEM tool kit and the rear passenger seat pad. This is highly original and in great shape. Gixxer nuts will say that the K5 is the best year, but this K2 is mighty fine:
