The Ducati Multistrada (Italian for many roads) was a semi-successor to the venerable Cagiva Gran Canyon and the Ducati Elefant. A bike that didn’t fit into any sort of existing bike niche, the Multi hasn’t sold particularly well, though it still soldiers on today.

Ducati Multistrada 1100S - Left Side

Available in varying displacements, the 1100S was the top of the line at the time, with the bigger, 95 horsepower engine, Ohlins suspension, and carbon fiber bits. All Multis got the interesting windscreen that moved with the handlebars, independently of the front fairing. Definitely an interesting idea, but opinions are generally negative on the aesthetic result. Want to learn more?
