2013 Triumph Speed Triple R

In England, Sport by AbhiLeave a Comment

For 2011, Triumph updated the big brother Speed Triple with a new frame, restyled bugeye headlights, and motor tweaks that bumped up output to 133 horsepower and 82 lb-ft of torque. The new model was nice – but the R was even nicer.

The R model got you Ohlins suspension, PVM forged aluminum wheels, Brembo brakes, and plenty of carbon fiber. Some owners may have hoped for extra power as well but that wasn’t in the cards – still, 133 is plenty and the bike is a rare combination of comfort and fun. This example has approximately 23,000 miles and its’ been extensively modified with a Triumph sport reflash, BMC race air filter, NGK iridium spark plugs, Woodcraft frame sliders, aftermarket short levers, EBC brakes, Rizoma LED turn signals, R&G tail tidy, Progrip tank protector, and Oxford heated grips.
