2024 Yamaha Tracer 9 GT+

A couple of years ago, I had the pleasure of attending the press launch for Yamaha’s newest generation of the Tracer. The big news was the addition of radar, which allowed for adaptive cruise control and assisted braking. It came with a $1,600 price bump (up to $16,499), and in my conclusion I felt like the radar wasn’t worth the extra dough. It appears that the market felt the same way as for next year Yamaha’s bringing in a decontented bike that ditches the radar but also brings the starting price down to $12,599 (plus a $625 destination fee). But if you want the fancy radar and don’t mind a bike with 9k miles on it, here’s one at $12,500 for you…

In other words, it’s $4k down from the original MSRP and you don’t have to worry about the dealer fees. If you want to learn more about what I thought about the bike, here’s my review. It does great wheelies, that’s for sure!

This example has just over 9k miles and it’s equipped with the OEM comfort seat, bar risers, Puig windscreenthe factory bags, and a top box mount (no top box included). The seller says this bike offers “BMW luxury, at Japanese prices and legendary Japanese reliability.”
