In England, Sport by AbhiLeave a Comment

The fourth generation of the Triumph Speed Triple was introduced in 2005, and the big news was a was a displacement bump to 1,050cc. It also was the first Speed Triple with radial brake calipers and underseat exhaust

The motor is an 12 valve inline triple that puts out 131 horsepower and 77 pound-feet of torque. It weighed approximately 420 pounds. For more information on the history of the Speed Triple, check out Auto Evolution. They call this bike “the definitive streetfighter”, but they also sum up the bike in one word: “evil”. I have to admit, I have a soft spot for this bike as it’s what I utilized as a learner bike at Wheelie University.

This example (VIN: SMT500PK17J290381) has just 370 miles and the seller claims it’s like new. It has a few choice extras – Ohlins shock, Arrow exhaust, bar risers, lowered seat, and a belly pan. Find this Speed Triple for sale in Pelham, Alabama for $10,997 here on Craigslist.
