I will precede this by reminding you that I’m a huge homer for the GS. Here’s a 23 minute video from 2010 (30th anniversary of the GS) that covers the history of this excellent model line:
1991 Harley-Davidson FXDB Sturgis
In 1991, Harley released a customized FXDB to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Sturgis rally. One year later, they did the same to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the rally in Daytona. 1600 and 1700 of the limited models were released, respectively – here’s #350 of the former.
AACA Winner – 1968 Honda CL350

View PostVideo Intermission – Kawasaki H2R Alarm Clock
A few days ago I featured a video of James Hillier tearing around the Isle of Man on a Kawasaki Ninja H2R with an incredible sound. Turns out James has discovered another use for the H2R – it’s not just a race bike, it’s an alarm clock! I feel bad for the victim of this prank.
1973 Rickman Zundapp 125

The Triumph TRW was built for use by the British military in WWII – only problem was that the war had been won by the time the bike had actually been released in 1948. Still, between 15 and 16 thousand were built by the time production ended in 1964, but nearly all of them left the UK.

In the seller’s words, “you will not get anywhere fast. Half the speedometer is for show.” But as long as you don’t mind a general lack of speed, her’s your chance to get a rare, tiny Honda that’s waiting to become a classic.
