Post Listing Update: This turbo’d showpiece got no interest at the BIN of $34,000 on eBay.

Even though motorcycle history has shown that bikes and turbos don’t make for commercially successful cocktails, some turbo fans will never give up. ProBoost is a Finnish company specialized in turbo systems for motorcycles and snowmobiles. To show off their capabilities, they’ve also built a complete bike with a BMW twin-turbo V8 motor. Meet the M1.

The engine base of ProBoost is the BMW M60B40, which powered some models during the 90’s like the 540i and 740i. With a MaxxECU engine control equipped on the bike, the engine produces 360hp and 384 pound-feet of torque. I’m sure it also sounds great with the dual Akrapovic exhausts. The whole custom frame (which ProBoost will sell to you separately for $2,400) has an inverted fork with Hayabusa tubes and 4 Ohlins shock absorbers. For more information about the M1, refer to ProBoost’s website. This example was built between 2016 and 2017, and it is officially a 2018 model with just 300 miles.

Find this ProBoost M1 in Saarenkylä, Finland directly on their website for $28,000 – or you can pay $34,000 if for some reason you want to get it
