2008 Benelli Tre-K 1130

In Italy, Touring by AbhiLeave a Comment

Post Listing Update: This Tre-K did not get any interest at the opening bid of $6,900 on eBay. On my way out to Florida to attempt the Coast to Coast in 50 Hour Challenge, I spent Day 4 with Bike-urious reader Rusty M. He’s got a wonderful collection of motorcycles in Tennessee, though it looks like it’s about to get …

Rare Project – 1973 Benelli Buzzer

In Italy, Small Displacement by AbhiLeave a Comment

In the late 60s, Benelli had a surprisingly large lineup of minibikes, most of which were powered by a 65cc 2-stroke motor. Some model names you may remember include the Hurricane, Tornado, City, Dynamo, and the ludicrous Volcano, the last of which got an absurd 180cc two-stroke motor! This is the Buzzer, which featured a seat that could be raised …

This generation of Ducati’s air-cooled SuperSports wasn’t particularly loved by the public from a styling standpoint. Does this …

The 1198S was a phenomenal machine – MCN called it “one of the best V-twins ever made and “truly one of those motorcycles that everybody should be allowed to ride once in their life.” For those of you that want a dash of exclusivity, Ducati produced a special cosmetic package called the Corse between 2009 and 2011. Rare in the US – 1988 Cagiva Tamanaco

In Dual-Sport, Italy, Less than 5k by AbhiLeave a Comment

Never officially imported to the US, the Cagiva Tamanaco was a diminutive dual-sport that looks like an absolute blast. Look at the stickers on this thing! “Fun & Function”, “Soft Damp”, “Twin Cooler”. In this case, the seller’s even added a couple of stickers of his own, such as a “BRAAAAP” on the inside of the right side hand guard.
