Post Listing Update: This Cagiva was pulled off of eBay, final sale price unknown. The Gran Canyon is an interesting option for those of you looking for an adventure bike that your buddies won’t have. This example has more miles than I’ve usually seen (which isn’t a bad thing) and it looks to be in excellent shape – looks like …
1983 Moto Guzzi 850 Le Mans III
In the early 80s, Guzzi could only export their 1000 (949cc) engine to the US because of stricter emissions rules. In ’83, MG was able to bring the 850 back, meaning they could also sell the Le Mans Mk III again – 2,609 were sold that first year.

View Post1975 Moto Guzzi 850 T3 Police
The seller of this Guzzi acquired it in 2007 after decades of neglect, and then spent 30 months bringing it back to life. Since then he’s added about 19,000 miles so it’s now at nearly 30k – here’s your chance to add some more to that, and maybe scare some inattentive drivers along the way.
Rare MX’er – 1971 Ducati 450RT Desmo
Here’s an interesting footnote in motocross history – it was Ducati’s sole attempt at a MX bike and it was produced for just one year. In addition, it’s the only motocross bike ever built to have desmodromic valves. Though it was available in 250cc and 350cc street-based variants abroad, only the US got the 450cc R/T after its American importer …
“Tomaso” – 1975 Moto Guzzi 850T Cafe Racer
Post Sale Update: After 30 bids on eBay, this custom Guzzi sold for $4,450. I assume you liked that Radical Guzzi Ristretto from last week, though you may not have had the cash for it. Here’s a much more reasonably-priced Guzzi that you can work to customized into the Guzzi of your dreams.
1965 Ducati Mach 1 250
When it was introduced, the Mach 1 was the fastest 250cc road bike available – it was capable of topping 100 miles per hour.
Ending Soon – 2014 Walt Siegl Leggero Toronto
Post-Listing Update: After getting no action at the opening bid of $34,000, this bike was relisted and again got no interest at $30,000. This is obviously an incredible bike, but it looks like no one’s interested at these kind of prices. A couple of years ago, Walt Siegl started building a limited run of custom motorcycles based on Ducati 900cc …
Hershey’s Promo – 2008 MV Agusta F4
In the recent Batman trilogy with Christian Bale, my favorite movie was the second – The Dark Knight. MV Agusta had a promotional deal that included some screen time for their F4 superbike in that movie, and for some reason Hershey’s Chocolate ran a promotion with a special grand prize: a Dark Knight-themed F4 valued at $35,000.

View Post1 of 207 – 1988 Ducati 851 Tricolore
Ducati released the 851 to the world in 1987, and it was the introduction of four valve Desmo heads. It made Ducati a competitive race team again (they’d end up winning the 1990 World SBK Championship with this model). For homologation purposes, they released 207 “kit” versions of the Tricolore, some of which were converted to be street legal – …
Rare Fairing – 1971 Moto Guzzi Ambassador Project
I normally wouldn’t be terribly excited to feature an Ambo project, but the fairing on this bike is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. The seller can’t identify it beyond saying it’s a “very rare fairing that was made for early Guzzi’s.” Do any of you know who made this fairing that looks like it contains rocket launchers?
Ending Soon – 2 1980s Moto Guzzis
A dealer in Henrietta, Texas has two cool red Guzzis from an estate sale – a CX100 and a Le Mans Mk 4!
1 of 5 – Radical Guzzi Ristretto
My German is non-existent, so I’m depending a lot on Google Translate here. But let’s start with what I do know something about – Radical Guzzi, a shop that’s has made quite a name for themselves with custom MG builds. Looks like they’re building a line of 5 bikes called Ristretto – they’ve already sold 3 of 5 and now …
