Post-Listing Update: This 500 Sport did not attract any bids on eBay. Most riders think of the 3 1/2 when they hear Moto Morini, but the firm was also known for their 500 Sport that was produced a decade later…to very little fanfare. What was once a classically beautiful motorcycle evolved into something hunkier as the Italian company tried to …

To celebrate its 200th win in WSBK, Ducati released 200 examples of their top of the line 999R in the Team Ducati FILA livery of 2003. 75 were supposed to make it to the US but it’s possible that just 67 were initially imported.

Custom Dommie – Andrew Greenland Honda NX650
I have a huge soft spot for the Honda Dominator (known as the NX650 in the US), as it was the bike I used to learn how to ride in the dirt, and it was the first bike I actually sold through this site. In the last couple of years, the Dommie has become a popular platform for customization, and …

It used the same pull-start 140cc engine that you’d find in a Snorunner, and an automatic transmission. If you believe the seller, this chopped RT140 was built by a Rokon employee …
1977 Moto Guzzi V1000 Convert
Initially designed to target the US police bike market, the V1000 Convert was the first production large displacement shaftie. You can probably guess why it was called Convert – the bike had a torque converter which allowed for smooth shifting between the two gears and allowed a rider to stop the bike while in gear.
