Ending Soon – 1975 Honda CB500T Cafe Racer

In Cafe Racer, Custom, Japan by AbhiLeave a Comment

The T in CB500T meant that the 498cc engine was a parallel twin which produced 34 horsepower. Journalists considered the bike fairly bland and not a standout. Depending on your perspective, that either makes it an excellent or a terrible choice for customization like what’s happened with this example that’s for sale.

The T was built only in 1975 and 1976, and while it didn’t set the market on fire it was a reliable motorcycle that could just top 100 miles per hour. Dry weight was 425 pounds. For more on the CB500T, check out this article on Motorcycle Classics.

This example (VIN: CB500T1009610) has 500 miles on a complete engine rebuild. The seller says it has new tires and flawless paint and it’s ready for a new owner. Find this cafe’d CB for sale in Pleasanton, California with bidding up to $5,800 and the reserve not yet met
