Post Listing Update: This CA77 did not meet reserve at $2,524 despite 24 bids on eBay.

Nowadays, the Shriners are typically riding Harley-Davidsons – currently Harley even offers a Shriners special edition (but you have to show proof that you belong to the fraternity) alongside their Peace Officer and Firefighter special editions. In fact, they’ve become such a pairing that when you look at the application for the motorcycle unit of the El Zaribah Shriners of Phoenix, Arizona, it specifies that if you’re accepted you’ll have to acquire a Harley “of 800cc or larger” within 90 days. But those of you that remember seeing the Shriners ride around in formation decades ago probably remember them on Honda Dreams.

Based on the stickers all over this example (VIN: CA77E1035584), I think it’s fair to assume that it was once used by the Tehran Shriners out of Fresno, California. A few forum posts on the internet suggest that there was a Shriner-spec of the Dream which included the hard luggage, additional lights in the rear, windshield, and possibly a siren. All of them seem to be equipped with stickers on the sidecovers, as well. This bike has 13,900 miles and is said to be stock with the exception of the mufflers. It has a new battery, fresh ‘tune up’ which included an oil change, and everything is said to work.
