Post Sale Update: This Gixxer sold for $4,850 after 66 bids on eBay in Joppa, Maryland.

After impressing motorcycle buyers with the 750 and 1100 GSX-Rs, Suzuki introduced a 600 in 1992. It had the same frame and plastics as the 750cc but the engine was watercooled. The bike was carried over unchanged for 1993, except for the graphics.

The 599cc motor produced 106 horsepower at 12,600 rpm, and the bike weighed 459 pounds dry – a reminder that it shared several components with the big brother 750. On the flip side, there’s plenty of room to get to the 36mm carbs! Still, this year of Gixxer didn’t far well in comparisons and it was generally a low point in the model’s history. It would take Suzuki until 1997 to come out with a competitive 600c sportbike.

This example (VIN: JS1GN75A6P2100767) is said to have had one owner, and it was last run in December. It has 13,738 miles and the bodywork looks quite vibrant in the photos but I’d probably ask the seller for a few more and some close-ups. While this is being offered with no reserve, please note that this seller is charging an additional $299 “document fee.” Find this Gixxer for sale in Joppa, Maryland with bidding up to $2,225 here on eBay.
