Auction Preview – J. Wood & Company Rhode Island
Gordon Razee, owner of Razee Motorcycle Center, has contracted J. Wood & Company to auction off a warehouse full of 220 motorcycles this October.
Saltarelli Collection – 1959 Ducati 200 Elite
Carlo Saltarelli was an ex-Ducati factory rider/racer/dealer who accumulated an incredible collection of the marque’s best bikes over a 30+ year career. In 2012, 107 of his motorcycles were auctioned off in Monaco by RM Sotheby’s – one of which was this beautiful Ducati Elite. 3 years later it’s back up for sale in Los Angeles.
1971 Triumph Blazer T25SS
At first glance, I thought this bike was restored. Turns out it’s just in “exceptional” original condition – though the current seller did have it gone through mechanically. It’s in impressive shape, but is it worth over 6 grand?
1980 Commuter Vehicles Comuta-Car
Before Tesla introduced the Roadster, this was the most produced American electric car with 4,444 units. It might only have had a range of 50 miles and a top speed of 38 miles per hour, but one thing it had over the Tesla? Style! 2007 Buell Lightning Super TT
For just two years and 1,700 units, Buell channeled the supermoto feel and created the XB12STT, a tweaked version of their Lightning streetfighter. It was also known as the Buell Lightning Super TT. Those of you with off-road backgrounds will feel instantly comfortable once you hop on the narrow single seat of the Super TT.
Needs Some Work – 1985 Laverda SFC 1000
Here’s one of the last examples of the Laverda brand – the SFC 1000. A limited edition last gasp from the Italian firm, just 200 were intended to be produced, none for export to the US. So here’s your rare opportunity to snag one.

Restored – 1969 Sachs K-125GS Boondocker
Introduced in 1968, the Sachs K-125GS (also known as the Boondocker) was designed to be a competitive turn key entrant for privateer off-road racers. Here’s an example that’s been restored and is nearly perfect – though the opening bid is over 6x the original MSRP of $600.
