Post Listing Update: This Bearkat has been relisted a few times (including a weird situation where it “sold” at a BIN of $3,250, but it was relisted again and did not meet reserve at $1,575.

Built by the Bearkat Manufacturing Company out of San Diego, California, this scoot was similar to other trail bikes like the Tote Gote, Trail Tractor, or Trail Machine, except this one got a much larger rear wheel/tire.

The Bearkat came standard with a 6 horsepower 4-stroke Tecumseh engine and it was capable of hitting 30 miles per hour or climbing a 45 degree incline with cargo. Optional equipment included a front suspension, headlight, saddle bags, passenger seat, a 8.5 horsepower heavy duty motor, or even matching gloves and boots.
