Street Biased – 1994 BMW R100GSPD

In Dual-Sport, Germany by AbhiLeave a Comment

Over the last 15 years, the seller of this GS has tried to turn it “into one of the best and most unique street biased PD’s in terms of performance and aesthetics.” It’s definitely unique – I can’t say I’ve ever seen Buco saddlebags on a GS before.

This example (VIN: WB1048908R0048006) has a whole bunch of modifications. Let’s start with the performance side of things: dual plug heads, high comp pistons and a mild race cam from San Jose BMW, taller 5th gear, 38mm Dell’Orto carbs, Tomaselli throttle, custom exhaust with a Conti pipe, upgraded alternator/stator and starter motor, Works rear shock, Progressive front forks, and a custom 6 piston front brake caliper. On the cosmetic side, you’ll get /5 valve covers, those Buco bags (which have been wired with brake lights), and a repaint of anything that was originally white to black. The seller seems to have all the original parts as well. The only flaws are that the odometer broke approximately 500 miles ago and there’s some cosmetic issues on a sidecover and on one of the headers.
