Post Listing Update: This turbo’d KZ did not get any interest at the opening bid of $18,000 on eBay in Independence, Virginia.

In 1976, Kawasaki unveiled a “limited edition” factory custom of their KZ900, which differed in the inclusion of pulled back handlebars, king and queen seat, fat rear tire, dual disc front brakes, Mulholland shocks, Morris aluminum spoked wheels, and lots of chrome. This example (VIN: KZ900B-500348) is claimed to be a one owner bike that stands out as it had a ATP Turbo kit installed by the original dealer back in ’76. Everything is said to work – it even has the original tires, which you’ll want to replace if you want to add miles to the 5,935 on the odometer. As the seller states it, “everything except the turbo kit is original to this bike as it came from the factory,” which includes the original tool kit with feeler gauges. It was recently serviced with an oil filter, spark plugs, timing set, valve check, timing chain adjustment, new master cylinders, new battery, and more. It’s ready to ride:
