A couple of weeks after I picked up my new-to-me K12R a couple of years ago, a friend reminded me of the bizarre “Respect” video that BMW released as part of their promotion of the bike. It didn’t make sense to me when it was introduced a decade ago, and it doesn’t make sense to me now, but let’s go back in time to one of BMW’s weirder videos:
