This month, I’m buying one less beer. I’m doing that so I can put $5 towards Motor Trend, because they’ve finally convinced me to sign up for their online platform. I almost went for it months ago when they stopped putting new episodes of Roadkill on YouTube (here’s one of my favorite episodes as an example), but now they’ve wisely added a motorcycle show with two hosts. They’ve chosen extra-wisely by hiring Ari Henning and Zack Courts (as well as their producer, Spenser Robert).
Before I started this site, my usual Thanksgiving weekend routine was to hop on a bike and ride south to find new spots in Baja. This year I’m staying local but I can at least live vicariously through Ari and Zack, as their first episode finds them riding the new Honda Monkey from Ensenada to La Paz, tracing some of the Baja 1000 course.
