Post-Listing Update: This Gilera did not meet reserve with bidding up to $3,050.
“Most likely” based on a late 60s Gilera 124 5V, this rolling piece of art was built/restored by Kent Riches of Air-Tech, known for their motorcycle bodywork.
The seller acquired the bike from Kent in 2008 as a showpiece – it has never seen fuel and the seller never wanted to run it. With that said, the engine was apparently also restored in 2008 so it hopefully would not take much to get this bike on the road where it belongs. All hail dustbin fairings!
