1979 Honda CB750F Super Sport

The Honda CB750F, also known as the Super Sport, was an evolution of the storied CB750 line. It gained some 80s styling to complement the 748cc dual overhead cam engine, a unit that produced 78 horsepower. The bike was capable of hitting about 125 miles per hour, and it was very competitive in the market in terms of power and handling.

This example was put into storage after seven years of use and was only brought back to life last year by the current seller after he/she acquired it last spring. The carbs were cleaned, the oil and filter were changed, a new battery was installed, and the bike got new tires. Not pictured are some spare parts and chromed crash guards that will be included with the sale. I prefer the silver/blue paint scheme but this low mileage (about 15,000 miles) example doesn’t look bad at all.

There’s some cosmetic damage to note – a crack in the rear cowl and dings in the exhaust, plus it needs a new chain. But it’s claimed to be in very good shape overall and it comes with the original owners manual and official Honda shop manual.
