Post-Listing Update: This Suzuki GSXR 750 Limited Edition did not meet the reserve at $7,200 with 27 bids.

The Suzuki GSXR 750 Limited Edition was an absolute legend in the world of 80’s sportsbikes – a bike that deserved the 50% increase in MSRP over the regular GSXR 750. The dry clutch upgrade was a $2,000 option in itself! Compared to the standard, this bike got a solo tail cowl, steering damper, the aforementioned dry clutch, metal fuel tank, and some serious exclusivity. Less than 1,000 were ever produced.

Suzuki GSXR 750 Limited Edition - Front Left

The most expensive Japanese sportsbike available at the time, the Suzuki GSXR 750 Limited Edition was a solid 60 pounds lighter than the competition. Because of that, lots of these bikes went straight to the track, making them even hard to find on the streets. Think of this bike like a 60’s muscle car. 20-30 years from now, this will be worth an incredible amount of money.

Suzuki GSXR 750 Limited Edition - Gauges

This specific Suzuki GSXR 750 Limited Edition (VIN: JS1GR75A2G2106845) has just over 14,000 miles and is claimed to be all original. Unfortunately, this bike suffered a tipover in storage, which has resulted in a dent on the tank, scratches on the belly pan, and some flaking paint on the front fender. The important thing is that the clutch is said to be in good shape, which is key as parts are rare, if you can even still find them. You’ll be looking at nearly $3,000 to replace the clutch on this bike, so ensure it’s in good shape before you buy.
