Honda NSR250R is a legendary two-stroke race replica – and it all starts with the MC16 generation from 1987. Honda sold 18,798 examples of this instant success and production would continue on until 1996.
The V-twin engine produced about 45 horsepower and it featured 28mm flat slide carbs, cassette transmission, and an aluminum frame. For more on the MC16, check out NSR250.net.
This legally-imported example (VIN: MC161001303) has 4,609 miles and a Washington title – but California riders will need to do some research to see if they can register this bike in the Golden State. It’s said to run almost like new and it comes with a large set of spares. The seller says this bike is a 8/8.5 out of 10 and that he has completed a lot of work – including overhauls of the electrical, brake, fuel, lubrication, and exhaust systems.
