Moto Guzzi took their well-known 1,064cc twin and threw it in an ADV package to compete against BMW’s GS bikes. The result was as you’d expect – too heavy and under-suspended for serious off-road work, but very capable as a sport-tourer that could also play on fire roads or light trails. This example is well-modified for touring and it’s had the common Quota issues addressed, so it’s perfect for someone who appreciates the qualities of an ADV bike but wants something relatively unique.
For more on the Quota, check out this review on Motorcyclist where Ed Milich calls it “one of Moto Guzzi’s famous engineering answers to questions no one asked.”
This example has 38k miles and it’s in the rare champagne/deep blue livery. It’s offered by the third owner and per the seller it runs well. “The little scrapes and small blemishes are minor but indicative of 25 years of loving use.”
