If you’re reading this page, you already know the basics about this bike. An inline 4 cylinder DOHC engine provides power to the rear tire through a chain. Based on civilian models, the police bikes got larger generators to run the extra lighting and radios. Over the entire production run, this bike has 95% parts compatibility. The 2002 model, like this bike, got a 530 chain to save weight and increase acceleration. LED lights were introduced a year later.
