Post Listing Update: This Streetfighter did not meet reserve despite 23 bids up to $6,900 on eBay.

Ducati Streetfighters are a rare sight around the streets, but I can’t think of a reason why. I was first introduced to them in person at Motorcycle Mover LA. I always ask owners what they think about them, and have never heard anything besides “Insane.” However they are a very rare sight in the wild. Perhaps, because hardly anyone even remembers they once rolled out of the Ducati factory, and aren’t some stunt bike with an eBay headlight. The Streetfighter was offered from 2009-2012, being essentially an undressed Ducati 1098 with raised bars. It was a match made in heaven, resulting in a wheelie machine for the ages. Bennetts Bike offers some tips for those man enough to tame the beast.

2010 was the second year this future classic was available. This two owner, 3,800 mile example (VIN: ZDM11BWXAB004352) is currently in Florida for the winter, suggesting the owner was reasonably fond of his machine. The listing describes the bike as turn key, with recent service including oil, spark plugs, fuel lines, and battery. Frame sliders are installed, and there’s some Rizoma baubles like the brake/clutch reservoirs and handlebar, but this machine is otherwise stock. Not even a set of slip ons to diminish the originality. If you prefer things the way the came, this low mile example could be the raging bull you’re looking for.
