Post Listing Update: This V-Rod did not meet reserve despite 3 bids up to $6,200.

As some of you may have noticed by now, especially if you read my bio here, my tastes lean towards the performance end of the motorcycling spectrum. I have always loved what Harleys stood for, but every time I rode one I couldn’t help but think how much more fun I would have with extra lean angle and RPM. That is, until I rented a V-Rod for a day. The Harley Davidson V-Rod is a drag racing inspired answer to Japanese bikes, with a Porsche designed water-cooled V-Twin that passed the Dusseldorf Test [run for 500 straight hours without issue] as a testament to reliability. Production ended in 2017, leaving a dry lakebed in my soul that used to be full.

I couldn’t help but feature this 2016 V-Rod (VIN: 1HD1HPH15GC802716) with only 1,914 miles. The black and brushed color scheme exudes classic muscle, and the pictures show it stored inside. The listing is sparse, but includes a direct phone number to the owner for any questions. I always recommend fresh oil and coolant to anyone who buys a used bike, but given its model year and mileage it is probably ready for the drag strip immediately after.
