In 2022, Triumph expanded their model lineup with the “RR” variant of the Speed Triple 1200. It was designed to be more of a classy cafe racer rather than the model’s usual hooligan fare. I never got a chance to ride one but I always thought it was interesting (and quite expensive, at $21k). This one has just 745 miles and the ask is under $13k – that’s a number that makes much more sense to me.
The engine makes an ample 150 hp and 83 lb-ft of torque at the rear wheel, and it was paired to top of the line components: Ohlins Smart-EC semi-active suspension, Brembo Stylema brakes, all the usual high-level electronic controls afforded by a six-axis IMu, and plenty of carbon fiber. I like the styling of the fairing and the Red Hopper/Storm Grey livery as well. But the price was an issue, and Triumph did not sell many of these in the US.
This example has had the break-in service done. It’s got heated grips, engine protection, and a custom slip-on exhaust. Consider it broken in and slightly modified for you to enjoy at a much lower price point.
