In the spirit of the holiday season, I’ve found a motorcyclist who could use a little bit of help and I think it’d be great to help her out. Come learn a little about Wilma, who runs a buy-and-sell motorcycle spare parts store in the Phillipines.
I think it’d be great to help out other motorcyclists, particularly those who rely on bikes to bring in income. An easy way to do that is through Kiva, a non-profit organization that enables people like you and me to get into the world of microlending as made popular by Grameen Bank. I’ve lent money through Kiva in the past and have always been paid back + interest, and the thing that brings us all together here is a passion for motorcycles.
So with that in mind, here’s Wilma, who is looking for $425 (she just needs $250 more) to purchase additional inventory for her store. I’ve just donated $25, and I’m sharing this in the hopes that some of you might join me to help out a fellow biker. Either way, happy holidays to you!
