Roland’s Airhead Salvage is based out of East Madison, New Hampshire – based on the name you’d expect to be able to find all sorts of parts for air-cooled BMW’s. What you’ll also find are some nice examples of complete bikes, as well. Though he’s currently got a R100GS and a R90S available, today we’re going to focus on a cafe’d R75/7 with 1,000cc of displacement.

This bike got a frame-up rebuild in 2009, and since then it’s covered 6,550 miles. The drivetrain was overhauled, during which the displacement was bumped up to 1,000cc. Goodies include a Teleflex fork brace, Mikuni 38mm carbs, Hoske mufflers, Lester wheels, Progressive front springs, R90S rear shocks, ATE dual disc brakes up front, and custom braced swing arm. Other things to note are a new speedo, 34/11 final drive, and lots of powdercoat/repaint.
