Post Listing Update: this Guzzi did not meet reserve despite 55 bids up to $4,168 on eBay in Toronto, Canada. Though it’s currently in Toronto, this Guzzi was imported from America so it can easily go back. It started as a 850T, and now it’s a 1,100cc beauty that evokes the legendary V7 Telaio Rosso.
6 Miles – 2015 MV Agusta F4 RC
Continuing the trend of 6 mile Italian exotics on our new auction site (the 916 Senna I featured yesterday ended up selling for $32,207) is this 2015 MV Agusta F4 RC. This is another bike from Danny McKenna’s collection – he bought it new and then immediately it on display. While the F4 is special, this is the F4 RC …
6 Miles – 1995 Ducati 916 Senna
Post Sale Update: This 916 Senna sold for $32,207 (including buyer’s fee) on Iconic Motorbike Auctions Powered by Bike-urious. On the auction side of things, we just received a collection of bikes from Danny McKenna – CEO of McKenna Motors. I won’t bug you with every single one of them, but there’s some special stuff with super low miles. One …
1995 Ducati 900SS/SP
Post Sale Update: After being relisted, this Ducati sold for $4,500 after 12 bids on eBay in Sonoma, California. SP = Sport Production, and it was a variant of the 900 SuperSport that was only available in North America.
1991 Moto Guzzi 1000S
Post Listing Update: This Guzzi 1000S did not meet reserve despite 33 bids up to $12,100 in Wichita Falls, Texas. It was immediately relisted but bidding only got up to $11,300. The seller then tried one last relist at a BIN of $15,000 with no takers. In 1990, Moto Guzzi released the 1000S, styled to look like an update of …
1966 Gilera B300
Post Listing Update: This B300 did not meet reserve despite 21 bids up to $3,750 in Wainscott, New York. Produced between 1954 and 1970, the Gilera B300 (B for Bicilindrico or two cylinders) is a rare find in the US. It was built to be a reliable commuter rather than a performance mount.
1984 Ducati Pantah 650SL
Post Listing Update: This Pantah 650SL did not meet reserve despite 28 bids up to $8,601.01 in Wainscott, New York. Another day, another Italian beauty out of Stuart Parr’s collection. Yesterday’s Gilera Saturno was my favorite of the current offerings, but even that stunner isn’t as visually striking as this Pantah 650SL, one of just 288 ever built.
1990 Gilera Saturno 500 Bialbero
View Post712 Miles – 2002 Ducati 998S Ben Bostrom Replica – 127/155
Post Sale Update: This Ben Bostrom Rep sold for $12,500 after 43 bids on eBay in Mukilteo, Washington. When Ben Bostrom was competing in AMA Superbike with a 998S, he raced with the number 155. So when Ducati decided to sell a limited edition replica, the production quantity was obviously…310. OK, that might not make sense at first glance, but …
2005 MV Agusta F4 1000 Tamburini
Today on the auction site we’ve got a low mileage (92 miles) example of a very special MV. Mark Hoyer from Cycle World focused on the model name, noting “If the designer put his name on it, it must be good.” He wasn’t wrong.
1983 Bimota HB3
Another rare and exquisite bike from Massimo Tamburini, the HB3 was Bimota’s third model with a Honda engine. This time around it utilized the air-cooled four cylinder from a CB1100F. 101 examples were produced – this is one of the 58 with a full fairing.
1980 Moto Guzzi “1000Ss”
Post Listing Update: did not meet reserve despite 32 bids up to $6,650 on eBay in Easton, Pennsylvania. Guzzi fans know that 1000Ss isn’t an official model, hence the quotes. But this is still an interesting custom built out of a variety of Guzzi parts – Tonti G5 frame, California 1,000cc engine, Le Mans bodywork, and a Sprint dustbin fairing.
2007 Bimota DB6 Delirio
Post Listing Update: This Delirio did not get any action at the BIN of $14,500 or best offer on eBay. One of the better model names in Bimota history, the DB6 Delirio is a naked standard that was part of Bimota’s rebirth once Roberto Comini acquired the firm in 2003. It was the “cheapest” Bimota in the lineup, though it’s …
351 Miles – 1997 Ducati 916
Considered by many to be the most beautiful motorcycle of all time, the Ducati 916 will always bee a legendary two-wheeler. This example will take you back in time a couple of decades as it’s in excellent shape.
