Post Sale Update: After 15 bids on eBay, this Griso sold for $9,400. I don’t know what it is about the Griso – I just feel that in Tenni Green, it’s simply stunning. This example has 13,450 miles and over $4,500 in extras, including a Mistral exhaust, Power Commander, flashed Guzzi Tech ECU, backrest, luggage, and a front fairing – so …
1977 MV Agusta 350 Ipotesi
The MV Agusta 350S Ipotesi is a classic Italian designed by legendary automotive stylist Giorgio Giugiaro. Nicknamed the Ipotesi (Hypothesis in Italian), it was Giugiaro’s attempt at styling a bike. It was quite advanced for the time – triple disc brakes, cast magnesium wheels, and a 10,000 rpm redline made this 350cc bike a treat to ride.

Though some people think the 350 is a better bike, the 450 Desmo is primed to be one of the next bikes that will start surging in price. For some details on what made this bike a “Memorable Motorcycle”, check out this article on Motorcycle USA.

Ending Soon – Gilera 175 Turismo
This Gilera has been with the current owner for 6 years, who bought it with the intention of running it in the California Moto Giro. Unfortunately, that’s never happened, though the bike is claimed to run well and have new tires, wheels, spokes, and rubber pegs. The paint is original and the bike has 6,252 miles – here’s your chance …
1964 Parilla Special 125
One of the later Parillas ever made, this Special features a OHV 4-stroke paired with a 4-speed transmission. This specific bike was prepared to run in the Milano-Taranto, though it did not have a chance to run.
Needs a Restoration – 1969 Laverda 750GT American Eagle
Post Sale Update: This Laverda/American Eagle project sold for $3,726 after 22 bids on eBay. I hate featuring bikes that need this much work, but this is truly a special one. Italian motorcycle fans love Laverdas, but they weren’t well-known in the US until they were imported under the American Eagle name, the creation of Jack McCormack.

I’ve seen estimates of production between 40 and 50 – here’s one that’s claimed to be extremely well-cared for.

A restored example of the Ducati 750GT, this bike has enjoyed almost a complete repaint (minus the frame).

View Post2000 Moto Guzzi Quota
As a R1150GS owner myself, I’m a big fan of large displacement dual-sports, particularly of the opposite-cylinder variety. This big V-Twin checks all the right boxes for an all-rounder, with the added benefit that you’re going to stand out from the GSes with a bike this rare.
1958 MV Agusta GT150
Imported from Italy, this GT150 was rebuilt down to the crank and is claimed to run great. Last summer it ran a 100 mile Giro, bringing the total miles to 23,779 – not bad.
