Here’s one of the defining bikes of the 1980’s – Suzuki’s RG500 Gamma
Terry Thomason Rat Rod
Bask in the magnificence of this custom bike built by Terry Thomason. It’s 9 feet long, has 3 inches of clearance, and it can be yours for $1,500.
Pontiac Fiero Trike
Yes, it’s based on a car, but the front end is off a bike (bonus points if you can figure out what it’s from, cause I can’t), so I’m considering this suitable enough to feature. For just $2,000, you too can have a homemade trike with the drivetrain of an automatic Fiero. Seems appropriate to post this on April Fool’s …
Gorgeous Guzzi – 1973 Moto Guzzi V7 Sport
Post-Listing Update: This V7 Sport was pulled off of eBay, final sale price unknown. That’s a shame, I was really hoping to see what this was going to go for. The V7 Sport is a true classic, and here’s one of the best you will ever see. I love getting the chance to show you bikes like this on Bike-urious.
Rare in the US – 1988 Honda NSR250 MC18
The MC18 generation of the iconic Honda NSR250R was an all new design available either in “Fighting Red” or the “Terra Blue” that you see in front of you. Limited to 45 horsepower to follow Japan’s licensing laws of the time, the bike could easily be delimited so that you’d have access to all 63 horsepower. The MC18 was never …
2009 Ducati Sport1000S
The black Sport1000S was a one year only bike – 2009 only. The “S” was the same bike as the Sport1000, but with lower handlebars and the Paul Smart-style fairing. Ducati was just a little ahead of the times with this bike, and so although sales were initially poor, the resale values for them now are quite impressive (or depressing, …
78 Miles – 1996 KTM 620 RXC
Post Sale Update: This RXC sold for $3,383.33 after 44 bids on eBay. Gotta love those 90s plastics. Here’s an beautiful example of a large KTM thumper. It has just 78 miles and is being offered with no reserve so it’s going to have a new owner. Note that the front brakes will “need to be serviced”, but this has …
1975 Rupp RST100
Founded in 1959, Rupp Manufacturing started out as a kart manufacturer in Mansfeld, Ohio. Within 10 years, they had grown to a 400-employee shop pumping out mini-bikes, go-karts, snowmobiles, and what some people consider to be the first “4 wheeler” – the Rupp Go Joe. Here’s one of their rare mini bikes – the RST 100.
1983 Triumph TSX
The last time one of these was featured on Bike-urious, it needed some work (and was more expensive than this bike). Hopefully you’ll find this one to be a better deal.
2006 Benelli TRE 1150 Endurance Works Racer
I’ll give you a minute to stop drooling. Ready? Here’s a factory Endurance Works race bike that was campaigned in 2006 and 2007, including a 2nd in class finish at Bol d’Or.
1925 Triumph Model P
The Triumph Model P brought the English firm into the world of mass production – and the company needed it because they were making 1,000 per week to keep up with demand, even in an economic downturn. Much of the bike’s success came from the price: Triumph was able to sell this bike for 42 pounds, making it the cheapest …
1966 Harley-Davidson FLH Electra Glide
Here’s a lovely first year example of the Shovelhead engine (with an electric start, of course). The bike has had two owners – the current one has had the bike since 1985. The engine and transmission were recently refreshed and the bike has since been in storage. Though they’re not currently on the bike, all the dresser parts – seat …
1 of 3 Remaining – 1964 Marusho Lilac MF-19
Post-Sale Update: This MF-19 sold for $4,595 after 7 bids on eBay. Marusho/Lilac was a Japanese motorcycle manufacturer that was constantly under the shadow of Honda. After peaking in the late 50s, the company went bankrupt in 1962. The company was brought back to life just a year later, free of debts and configured to specifically target the American market …
2002 MZ Baghira Black Panther
Post Listing Update: This Black Panther did not meet reserve despite 18 bids up to $1,528 on eBay. MZ decided to expand their product line with the introduction of the MZ Baghira, a dual sport with excellent components – bodywork from Acerbis, motor from Yamaha, and suspension from WP. It all combined to make a rare and very satisfying dual …
Homebrew Cafe – 2007 Suzuki Ryca 650 CS-1
Though the seller never actually says it, this looks to be a Ryca 650 CS-1 kit, designed to turn your Suzuki S40 into a cafe racer with $2,800 worth of parts.
