Post Listing Update: This Morini did not meet reserve despite 29 bids up to $6,950.

In 1954, Moto Morini introduced a series of bikes that were all named after Italian card games – Settebello (7 of Diamonds), Biscola (Trumps), and in 1958 – the Tresette (Three Sevens), which was available in a base model or the sportier Sprint as presented here.

The Tresette was an evolution of Morini’s earlier Turismo, and the Sprint variant got a high-comp piston with a Dell’Orto carb, good for 13 horsepower and a top speed of 73 miles per hour.

This example is said to be in “very good running and riding condition” with approximately 25,530 miles on the odometer. It’s part of the Michael Harper Smith collection – find this Tresette Sprint for sale in Tarzana, California with bidding up to $4,741 and the reserve not yet met
