Jeff Blackmore of Blackmore Ranch has a hell of a bike collection (and a facility), though it looks like he’s selling one of flat trackers.
The RS600 was a Honda factory effort and the smaller version of the legendary RS750. Per this thread, the heavily beefed up single (based on what you’d get from a XR600 dirtbike) was claimed to put out 70 horsepower thanks to modifications like domed pistons, more aggressive cams, larger cooling fins on the head (and a single intake port), plus an upgraded oil pump. The listing is unfortunately very sparse on details – there’s just one photo and the entire description is “Factory Honda RS600 Flat Tracker.” I don’t know these bikes as well as I’d like to – do any of you experts have thoughts on how legit the “factory” claim is based on the one photo you are provided?
