Last month we saw some great bikes – but did they sell? And if so, for how much?
This summary will only include listings from eBay (or other auction sites). I unfortunately have no way of finding out final sale prices of bikes offered on Craigslist/Cycle Trader/Kijiji/etc. With that said, here are some highlights from last month:
Signed by Pierre – 2005 Ducati 749R – sold for $10,900 after 11 bids on eBay in Birmingham, Alabama.
1958 Poirier Voiturette XW5 Monoto – four years ago, I featured this Poirier when it was on eBay in Belgium, and it sold for $5,555. It just went for quite a discount this time around – it sold for $2,350 after 13 bids on eBay in Tipton, Iowa.
Rare Project – 1983 Honda Gyro X – sold for $1,894.13 after 21 bids on eBay in Prospect, Connecticut.
300 Miles – 2016 Moto Guzzi V7 Stornello Scrambler – sold for $5,600 after 2 bids on eBay in Hollywood, Florida.
1982 Honda XL500R – sold for $1,750 after 29 bids on eBay in Canyon Country, California.
2009 Suzuki DR-Z400 – sold for $3,000 after 20 bids on eBay in Miami, Florida.
Project With A Story – 1974 Ducati 750 Sport – sold for $40,100 after 60 bids on eBay in Ontario, California.
No Reserve – 2014 Ducati 1199 Superleggera – sold for $32,600 after 81 bids on eBay in Liberty, Texas.
Needs Some Work – 1972 Kawasaki H2 750 – sold for $11,703 after 16 bids on eBay in Jackson, New Jersey.
1968 Honda CL125A – sold for $1,875 after 50 bids on eBay in Gilbert, Arizona.
Ending Soon – 2009 Kawasaki KLR650 M1030M1 – sold for $7,113 after 20 bids on eBay in Birmingham, Alabama.
1990 Honda GB500 Tourist Trophy – sold for $5,558 after 23 bids on eBay in San Diego, California.
Here’s some stuff that didn’t sell:
Desert Sled – 1956 Triumph Trophy TR6 – did not meet reserve despite 26 bids up to $8,600 in Altadena, California.
2018 BMW HP4 Race – did not meet reserve with 10 bids up to $37,500 on Bring a Trailer in New York, New York.
Street Legal With Rothman’s Livery – 1991 Honda EZ-9 – did not meet reserve despite 25 bids up to $2,650 on eBay in San Jacinto, California.
No Reserve – 1979 Kawasaki KZ1000 MkII – sold for $17,750 after 26 bids on eBay in Walnut Creek, California.
Model 13 – 1966 Bultaco Mercurio 175 – did not meet reserve despite 8 bids up to $2,550 on eBay in Houston, Texas.
388/400 – 2002 Ducati 998S Troy Bayliss Replica – did not meet reserve despite 22 bids up to $12,100 on eBay in San Rafael, California.
1963 Zündapp Super Sport Combinette (Guess That Bike Revealed – Engine For Sale Edition) – did not meet reserve despite 18 bids up to $5,800 on eBay in Pompano Beach, Florida.
1990 Honda RC30 – did not meet reserve despite 55 bids up to $27,100 in Jacksonville Beach, Florida.
