New Auction Bike – 1986 Yamaha YSR80 With Sidecar

In 3 Wheels, Japan by AbhiLeave a Comment

I know I’m hitting you with a lot of bikes from the new auction site, so I’ve resolved to tone it down a bit and only show you the most interesting stuff. There’s a minty CBR929RR that’s about to end soon, but I want to focus this post on an adorable YSR80 with a sidecar.

Some of you know may Sandro from Pro Italia.

This is a bit of an oddball – someone who fancies themselves a YSR expert has told me that just three of these sidecars were made, but I cannot find any sort of independent verification so I omitted that from the listing. Still, it’s an amazing package. It’s also seen better days – there’s plenty of fiberglass damage and corrosion on the hack, but it’s so rare that it’s still worth sharing. The important thing is that all the important components are there, and as you can see from the photos above, it runs. But it will need a new top end soon. If you’re not great with tools, we can take care of that for you for cheap, but it’s definitely something you should know before you bid. I’m not really sure what the point of this minibike-with-a-sidecar is, I just know that it puts a smile on my face.
