Today on Iconic Motorbike Auctions we’ve got a Japanese-Italian fusion.
The YB11 utilized a Yamaha YZF1000R Thunderace but Bimota was able to tweak it and put it in a package that weighed 32 pounds less than donor bike. That’s why the YB11 was also known as the Super Leggera. 600 were built, 87 of which were sold in the US.
