No Reserve – 1972 Honda CB350 AHRMA Racer

Post Sale Update: This CB350 racer sold for $3,550 after 23 bids on eBay.

The seller of this bike has raced this Honda at GingerMan, Putnam, and Vintage Days at Mid-Ohio. Offered with no reserve, it looks to be a cost-effective way of getting into vintage racing, as it’s currently ready for AHRMA or WERA Vintage.

The seller acquired the bike as a racer but he stripped it down “to every single nut and bolt and built it back up even better”. Highlights of the work include a detabbed and gusseted frame that was powdercoated, Airtech bodywork, Scitsu tach, SL350 fork, CL450 front wheel, Excel rear wheel, 67.5mm pistons, Barnett clutch, Megacycle cam, and plenty of Todd Henning parts (cam chain guide, index cam sprocket, close ratio 5th gear).

In the seller’s words, “the fact is I have way more money in this bike than what I could ever get back. The only way I’d make my money back is if you were profoundly drunk and eager to hit the bid button. Plus I’m selling this no reserve so if you want it then bid on it. But please please please don’t screw around and accidentally buy the bike with no intention of paying for the bike.” It’s not street legal and there’s no title.
