There are many technical specifications available on how this bike surpasses the stock R6, but it was built specifically for Sam Lowe, who was signed on this year in Yakhnich’s attempt to win the World Supersport Championship. The team got official support from Yamaha Motor Europe but technical development was done in-house.
I can’t imagine you’re going to be able to get your hands on a better R6, which features goodies like Magneti Marelli electronics, Brembo brakes, an Arrow exhaust – and a engine tuned for Phillip Island. You don’t get to say that very often!
