Built as a tribute to the KZ1000 piloted by Eddie Lawson while winning the 1981 and 1982 AMA Superbike titles, the ZRX series is a muscle-car version of the UJM. Like many muscle cars, this Galaxy Blue ZRX has some great modifications to make it go faster, turn/stop quicker, and sound better.

Go Faster:
Ivan’s Stage 1 jet kit with air box mod
De-smogged
Kwick’s No’Flo Emission Block Off Plugs
Kwick’s +4 timing advance with K-Trick delete cover
Kwick’s Tension Tamer
Supersprox front and rear sprocket

Turn/Stop Quicker:
Ohlins front forks, Ohlins rear shocks, Galespeed wheels (6″ wide rear)
EBC Vee-Rotors front and rear with HH pads.
Rebuilt brake calipers and slave cylinder.

Sound Better:
Full stainless steel Muzzy exhaust with carbon fiber silencer.

In addition, the engine and valve covers have been powdercoated black. The odometer shows 13,697 miles. Purists may not be interested, but I’ve always thought the ZRX1200 was a great blend of classic style and modern performance with an old-school feel, and this one has to feel better than most with the Ohlins suspension and lightweight wheels.
