Post Sale Update: This Moto Guzzi LeMans Rosso Corsa failed to get any bids on eBay at a starting bid of $6,500.

The Moto Guzzi LeMans Rosso Corsa is a rare version of an already rare bike. Only 50 of the Rosso Corsa editions were brought to the United States. Based on the previous generation of the venerable LeMans, this bike was the pinnacle of a bike known for classic Italian cafe racer lines and the bulletproof, well-known MG V-Twin engine. Designed as MG’s top of the line sportsbike at the time, it came equipped with plenty of trick parts like Ohlins suspension front and rear, and Brembo calipers.

Despite the trick parts, the handling wasn’t really what you’d hope for. Part of this was due to the significant weight – nearly 500 pounds dry. The 90 horsepower out of the 1100cc V-Twin was enough, but not enough to move this bike like you’d expect from the looks. With that said, we’re all about bikes that stand out, and the Rosso Corsa absolutely does. Understand that this isn’t a track bike, and you’ll have a great time. Shame about how ugly it looks from the cockpit, though. Want to learn more? Check out Motorcyclist’s review of the Rosso here.

This specific Moto Guzzi LeMans Rosso Corsa has had several modifications, including high compression pistons, a GuzziTech reflash, PowerCommander III, and some cosmetic modifications. In addition, you’ll enjoy a Ferraci CF exhaust system and HB 3 piece luggage system, which adds incredible convenience to this exotic at the expense of looking absolutely horrendous.
