Post Sale Update: this AR80 sold for $2,025 after 6 bids on eBay in Chadron, Nebraska.

Kawasaki’s attempt to compete with Honda’s MB5, the AR80 packed a 78cc two-stroke engine that produced about 10 horsepower.

Available colors were Polar White, Lime Green, and Firecracker Red. In other markets, the 80 was advertised as a fun option for first timers with a Uni-Trak frame and cast alloy wheels. It was specifically designed for 16-18 year old riders who “buy for technical innovation and big bike styling as much as performance and costs.”

This example has 6,032 miles and the seller says it’s in good running condition with “generally very good” cosmetics that have the expected scratches for a 39 year-old bike.
