1990 Honda VTR250 Interceptor

Sold in the US for three years, the Honda VTR250 has become a cult classic for riders that love small bikes. The liquid cooled 250cc engine was paired with a six-speed transmission, and interestingly, an inboard front disc – though by 1990 the front brake would change to the industry standard.

If you want something different than the usual Ninja 250/300, this is truly a great all-arounder and it will become a classic. You could attain 90 mpg if you babied it, but still do 95mph if you needed it. Some might consider the riding position to be a bit cramped, but it’s very versatile, and it checks off the right boxes for a little bike. It’s light, nimble, and in a very 80’s way, good looking to boot. For more specifications, check out Tomi and Carl.

This example just received a tune-up that included a carb cleaning and an oil change. It has approximately 25,350 miles on the odometer and the seller does not point any mechanical concerns. Find this VTR250 for sale in San Diego, California for $1,800 here on Craigslist.
