By all accounts, the new Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 twin is a fine offering for the impressively low price of $5,799 (+$200 for multi-colors or +$700 for a chrome tank). Here’s one that’s barely been used (5k miles) at half the price…
The heart of this bike is a 648cc parallel-twin engine good for 47 horsepower and 38 foot-pounds of torque. The model was introduced in 2019 and owner reviews have been generally positive. As a stylish runabout you could do worse. Technically it’s called the INT650 in the US as “Interceptor” is a Honda trademark. The steel frame is shared with its café racer “Continental GT” sibling and is designed by Harris Performance (which RE bought in 2015). You get 18″ spoked wheels, ByBre brakes, and Gabriel shocks. Wet weight was a reasonable 445 pounds.
This example is completely stock except for a small side bag which appears to have necessitated the removal of the right side cover. It has 5,300 miles and the seller says it’s in “great overall condition.” Find this Interceptor for sale in Buda, Texas for $3,000 here on Facebook Marketplace.
