August 2020 Result Highlights

Last month we saw some great bikes (and one crazy trike called Death Trap) – but did they sell? And if so, for how much?

This list will only include listings from eBay (or other auction sites). I unfortunately have no way of finding out final sale prices of bikes offered on Craigslist/Cycle Trader/Kijiji/etc. With that said, here are some highlights from last month:

Ending Soon – 1971 Aermacchi Harley-Davidson Rapido – sold for $3,000 after 48 bids on eBay in Mentor, Ohio.

1969 Greeves Ranger – sold for $2,600 after 5 bids on eBay in Tucson, Arizona.

2002 Buell Thunderbolt S3T – sold for $3,701 after 10 bids on eBay in Collinsville, Illinois.

1970 American Eagle Renegade 150 – sold for $1,903 after 5 bids on eBay in Beaverton, Michigan.

1999 Maico 500 Cross – sold for $6,100 after 14 bids on eBay…but it was then relisted. Bidding got up to $4,855 and the reserve was not met, so it was relisted one more time where it sold for a BIN of $6,500 in Granada Hills, California.

2006 Triumph Bonneville T100 – sold for $4,350 after 20 bids on eBay in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

1967 Rokon Trailbreaker – sold for $3,700 after 11 bids on eBay in Calabasas, California.

1934 Victoria KR8 – sold for the BIN of $36,000 on eBay in Madison, Wisconsin.

No Reserve – 1976 Honda CB500T – sold for $3,300 after 32 bids on eBay in West Chester, Ohio.

Pepsi/Schwantz Tribute – 1992 Suzuki GSX-R750 Custom – sold for $8,560 after 12 bids on Iconic Motorbike Auctions in Westfield, Wisconsin.

1969 BSA Starfire B25 – sold for $2,565 after 20 bids on eBay in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Restored – 1973 Norton Commando 850 – sold for a BIN of $16,500

1979 Moto Guzzi LeMans II CX100 – sold for $7,977 after 7 bids on eBay in Pasadena, California.

2001 Honda RC51 – sold for $8,399 after 18 bids on eBay in Birmingham, Alabama.

2004 Ducati 998 Matrix Reloaded Edition – sold for $7,600 after 30 bids on eBay in Gary, Indiana.

Restored – 1982 Honda MB5 – sold for $2,799 after 22 bids on eBay in Enola, Pennsylvania.

147 Miles – 1999 Kawasaki ZRX1100 – sold for $12,100 after 19 bids on eBay in Mosinee, Wisconsin.

Near The End – 1993 Honda CT70 – sold for $2,275 after 27 bids on eBay in Clarkston, Michigan.

“Death Trap III” – Cadillac V-8 Powered Custom Trike – $6,300 after 3 bids on eBay in Alpharetta, Georgia.

No Reserve – 1986 Suzuki GSX-R 50 – sold for $4,922 after 8 bids on Iconic Motorbike Auctions in Marina del Rey, California.

Period Upgrades – 1967 Triumph Bonneville – sold for $4,050 after 6 bids on eBay in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas.

1986 Honda Gyro – sold for the BIN of $2,750 on eBay in Olympia, Washington.

2008 Benelli Tre-K 1130 – sold for $6,077 after 5 bids on eBay in East Haven, Connecticut.

See It At Handbuilt – 1979 Honda CX500 Custom – sold for $6,313 after 18 bids on Iconic Motorbike Auctions in Phoenix, Arizona.

Your Choice of RC51 Motor – 2000 Honda RC51 + 2002 Mondial Piega:
The RC51 sold for $7,811 after 8 bids on Iconic Motorbike Auctions in San Jacinto, California.

The Piega did not meet reserve with 7 bids up to $12,500 on Iconic Motorbike Auctions in San Jacinto, California. If you’re interested, I know that $17,655 will get you this bike!

Speaking of bikes that didn’t meet reserve…

Here’s some stuff that didn’t sell:

Bumblebee – 1989 BMW R100GS – did not meet reserve with 5 bids up to $5,850 on eBay in Missoula, Montana.

Ending Soon – 1972 Kawasaki H2 750 – did not meet reserve with 11 bids up to $12,301.32 on eBay in Buford, Georgia.

1988 Ducati Paso 750 – did not meet reserve with 22 bids up to $5,000 on eBay in Berwyn, Pennsylvania.

1953 Norton Dominator Model 88 – did not meet reserve with 27 bids up to $5,475 in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania.

1973 Moto Guzzi V7 Sport – did not meet reserve with 22 bids up to $11,600 on eBay in Madison, Wisconsin.
